I do not
dream of un-pointing this bayonet at you but even as I hold you at bay you take the tip of the blade into your mouth like a nipple and there is an ache in my breast that feels like teeth. You look at me all blue eyes and fluttering my pulse and paint me purple like an Easter stole on celibate shoulders. The blade turns to sugar-candy in your mouth and I am defenseless. |
